As warmer weather returns to central Pennsylvania (eventually), so does the seasonal excitement that comes with live automotive events at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds.  To support another busy year of automotive excellence in Carlisle, Carlisle Events is preparing to grow its seasonal workforce and will host a two-day job fair on February 27–28 at its office within the fairground’s fence line.

Carlisle Events typically employs approximately 200 part-time team members each year and is inviting prospective applicants to explore a wide range of opportunities during the job fair.  Hours for the event run Friday, February 27 from 8 AM to 7 PM. and Saturday, February 28 from 8 AM to 3 PM.  The job fair is open to individuals 14 years of age and older.

Applicants can apply in person for a variety of roles, including overnight security support, sanitation, show car parking, and more.  Many positions offer flexible scheduling, with most work concentrated around event weekends as well as show setup and teardown periods between April and October.  Conditional on-the-spot hiring may occur.  Candidates are encouraged to bring two forms of identification and be prepared to complete an application during their visit.  A criminal background check will be conducted prior to any formal employment offer.  Applications are also available online at CarlisleEvents.com/careers.

The Carlisle PA Fairgrounds is located at 1000 Bryn Mawr Road, just off Route 34 on the north side of Carlisle.  Attendees should turn at the traffic light at the intersection of K Street and Carlisle Springs Road and enter at Gate 3 of the fairgrounds, then follow posted signage directing them to the Job Fair/hiring center.
