The car corral is where individuals offer vehicles for sale (no parts, etc). Find classic to late-model vehicles in all varieties of make, model and condition. You can shop, compare and make the deal directly with the owner. Notary Service will be available. If you need anything else for the purchase of a vehicle, our staff in Guest Services can provide a contact list. If you are a car corral vendor or would like to become one, be sure to take advantage of the following offers:

Please Note: All vehicles in the corral must be for sale, in running condition and cannot be displayed on trailers. Spaces are approximately 10’ frontage x 20’ depth per outside space for the entire event. Unloading of vehicles on grounds is prohibited after Wednesday.

With Spring Carlisle opening the season, the 8,100 vending spaces onsite are going to once again be filled with collector car memorabilia, merchandise, literature and more. In addition, the car corral will fill with cars spanning automotive history.

Gates open at 7AM on Wednesday and we welcome a nonstop slew of vendors and enthusiasts from the world over, all preparing for one of the best collector car events in the world, Spring Carlisle. Standard gate admission and parking apply, but the nature of the day allows for more shopping space, a more personal interaction with vendors as well as getting a true lay of the land for the remaining event days. This day also serves as a preview day for the two-day auction taking place at the nearby Carlisle Expo Center and presented by Carlisle Auctions.

Buyers and sellers of rare, unique and fresh collectibles listen up, because Carlisle Events has something for you as part of its upcoming automotive flea market event at Spring Carlisle. If you truly believe that X marks the spot and that there are treasures to be found, then this event is perfect for you. Spring Carlisle plays host to hundreds of vendors covering thousands of spaces and many of the items available are EXACTLY what you’ve been trying to find. Antiques and collectibles are a natural part of a flea market, even the automotive ones. It’s the same concept, finding a deal, and many times these can be man cave items and/or automotive related finds. Scour the grounds and compete with many big name auction companies, pickers and industry celebrities. You don’t know who you’re picking against, but they are here! After all, why would you want to pay inflated prices to them later when you can pick it first at Spring Carlisle. The hard-to-find treasures can be found all around the grounds.

Reap the rewards of your efforts and go the extra mile as you search and network at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. Is there a golden piece for you to find? Maybe so. What about a true collectible piece from a bygone era when items were made with a little extra TLC? YES! Walk the grounds, find a hot collectible, then the choice is yours. Do you keep it or flip it for a profit before you leave the show? There are over 94 collectible programs on TV reflecting this worldwide trend. Carlisle Events is shedding light on your possibilities. If you don’t attend to see for yourself, you’ll never know.

Items are FRESH and, in many cases by shopping and picking well, you could step into a treasure trove of the unknown. We are talking about advertising, jewelry, time pieces, soda and automotive/transportation related collectibles. Find it all (and then some). The thrill of the hunt is alive and well at Spring Carlisle every April, but did you know that in addition to the cars available within the car corral, Carlisle Auctions offers a two-day collector car auction on Thursday and Friday of the spring show? It's true!  In fact, Carlisle Auctions runs 400+ lots across the block and many are consigned under the "Free Unless Sold" guarantee*.

The guarantee means any consigned collector car (25 years or older) that does not sell as part of the auction will see most of the registration fees refunded to the consignee. Certain exceptions apply.

Carlisle Auctions also offers special "featured vehicle" slots. These slots are limited, but if selected, will be positioned within the Carlisle Expo Center. When applying to consign, select "featured vehicle" within the registration paperwork. At that point, the Carlisle Auctions' team will make a determination on inclusion.

If accepted, an additional $300 featured vehicle fee will apply. If the featured consignment doesn't sell, only the consignment fee is refunded (call 717-960-6400 for details).

The auction offers decades of past, present, and future classics. From white glove, best of show consignments, to head turning daily drivers, you'll see it all! There is also an All-Truck Hour on Thursday of the Spring auction.

Not looking to buy or sell, but simply want to stop in and watch the auction excitement in person? Admission to Spring Carlisle offers reciprocating access to the auction. Carlisle Events welcomes back the Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) Hot Products Showcase. ARMO is the SEMA council whose mission is to preserve and promote the automotive restoration industry through its projects, education programs, and by monitoring legislative and/or regulatory issues that may affect its members.

This year the showcase will once again feature the “hottest” and most sought-after restoration products – regardless of when they came onto the market. The year-long Semiquincentennial celebration of our country’s rich and storied history continues through July 2026 and with it comes a variety of pomp and circumstance at the local, state, and national levels.  Once such showcase of all-things SemiQuin is Pennsylvania’s very own America250PA Mobile Unit and it’s BEEN CONFIRMED for Spring Carlisle 2026.  Powered by Visit PA and Penske Transportation Solutions, this custom-built, traveling experience is designed to bring the country's 250^th birthday party to Carlisle on April 22.

As outlined on America250pa.org, you have a chance to engage in THREE interactive exhibits:

1. Pennsylvania Pursuit – A fast-paced trivia game that challenges visitors with questions about Pennsylvania’s rich history, along with key civics questions from the U.S. citizenship test.
2. Keystone Quest – A retro-style video game that takes players on an adventure across Pennsylvania.
3. The Commonwealth Chronicles – A digital storytelling booth where visitors can record and share personal stories about their lives, histories, and hopes for the future.

The Carlisle PA Fairgrounds is a large footprint that can be a challenge at times, even for the most experienced attendee. 82 acres, 16+ miles of paved roadway, vendors and cars everywhere…it’s easy to understand how you may start wondering to yourself “where did I see that part or car I want to buy?” “How do I get my purchase from its space to my truck?” “How am I going to do this?” 

Never fear, because we’ve compiled a helpful list of ways that enhance your on-site experience at Carlisle! Thanks for joining us and enjoy your time at the show!

1. BRING CASH - The more the better. It’s hard to negotiate a deal without being able to pay.
2. WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES - It’s a lot of walking.
3. SUN BLOCK/DRINK LIQUIDS - You’ll be in the sun all day. It’s important to protect yourself and stay hydrated, especially if your weekend outdoors is your first prolonged exposure to the sun for the year.
4. REMEMBER THE SPACE - Take a picture of the space location or write it down. Every space at Carlisle has a disk to designate the space. Look down and you’ll see the space marker. Write down the letter and number. Don’t try to remember the space or the surrounding area. You’ll spend the rest of the day looking for it.
5. COME EARLY - Rare parts and great deals typically happen for the first person to find them. Set up day(s) and the first day of the event are for the serious shoppers.
6. ACT FAST - If you see a great deal, grab it. If you plan to come back later, it will probably be gone.
7. NEGOTIATE - It’s a flea market so don’t be afraid to make a REASONABLE offer.
8. EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED - Chances are good that you will find something you weren’t planning to find, so keep your eyes open.
9. LOOK EVERYWHERE - Even if you are looking for parts for your brand of vehicle, don’t walk past the vendor selling parts for other models or generations just because you assume there’s no way the vendor has what you want. Give their space a look too. They might not only have it, it may be cheap since it’s not what they typically sell.
10. USE THE CARLISLE EVENTS APP - Use the FREE Carlisle Events app to easily find your way back to a vendor (if you know the row and space). You can also use it to check activity schedules, register for other events, connect with fellow enthusiasts via social media, browse a digital copy of the event guide and more.
11. STAY LATE – There are always deals at Carlisle, but sometimes the best ones happen early on day 1 of a show, or late on its final day. Vendors are typically more willing to negotiate when they are packing up – especially large items.
12. BRING A SHOPPING LIST - Our memories aren’t as good as we think. Write it down. You can even make a list on your phone. Take pictures of what you need.
13. BRING A BAG, CART, ETC. - Parts will get heavy so have a way to carry your purchases. Ask the seller if you can leave heavy parts until later.
14. HAVE IT HAULED - Carlisle Events offers FREE* parts hauling. Keep that in mind if you’re looking at an engine, transmission, truck bed, etc.
15. FREE TAXI SERVICE – Need to get from point A to point B but don’t feel like walking it? Carlisle Events offers a FREE* taxi service. Dial 717-960-6429 to secure a ride. 
16. ASK! - If someone has parts for a vehicle but not the ones you need, ask if the seller has it. It might still be in his truck or at home. Even if he doesn’t, he might know someone who does.
17. KNOW THE VALUE - Do some homework on the parts you’re looking for so you know if the price is a good deal.
18. AVOID THE CROWDS - When you arrive, go to an out-of-the-way area to start rather than following the herd.
19. WALK IT ALL - Don’t miss any rows. The Carlisle Fairgrounds isn’t a perfect grid so make sure you hit every row and space.
20. ADVERTISE - Wear a hat, shirt or signboard that spotlights what you’re looking for.  It just might create a conversation, especially if what you’re searching for is obscure and/or rare. 

*While parts hauling and taxi service are free, donations are graciously accepted.  Donated money goes directly to the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation.

Items for sale or on display may be historic in nature and spark up a conversation or help you recall a great story from your younger days that you can pass along to them. Kid's Goody Bag- Available for pickup at Guest Services for kids 12 and under! Parents will receive a goody bag coupon for each kid when coming in with a spectator admission ticket. Some goodies within the bag are a coloring book, free cup with a coupon for a free drink at the food court and more! Limit one per child, child must be present.

If you're pursuing a career in the automotive world, the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation (CMAF) has a new opportunity with your name on it.  The Chip Miller Memorial Scholarship is designed to support students who share Chip Miller’s passion for the automotive industry.  Whether you're in high school, college, graduate school, or a trade program, you’re invited to apply during our next cycle, which should open up late in 2026 to support the 2027 awards.

Chip Miller—co-founder of Carlisle Events and lifelong car enthusiast—left behind a legacy fueled by community, kindness, and automotive excitement. In his honor, the CMAF is proud to offer multiple $1,000 scholarships, with winners announced June 1, 2026.  To donate and help expand these opportunities, scan the QR code or visit ChipMiller.org.
