Bill Miller, III is the son of Carlisle Events co-founder and co-owner Bill Miller, Jr. At Carlisle, Bill III is directly involved with all things auction. Carlisle Auctions currently holds 5 auctions a season with a few more possibilities in our sights. Miller assumed a more hands on role with Carlisle Events following the passing of Chip Miller. During that time frame, he and Lance Miller began overseeing the day to day operations. This partnership, along with the continued involvement of Bill Miller, Jr. has allowed Bill III to further enhance the Carlisle brand...

Employment
Bill III literally grew up at Carlisle. He worked in various capacities throughout his years and even walked away from Carlisle for a few years to work as a self employed automotive wholesaler. Aside from the wholesale work, Miller has worked various jobs; all of which have directly been related to his first love – cars. 

Education
Bill graduated from Northwood University in Palm Beach, Florida in 1991. He has Bachelor’s in Business Management and an Associate’s in marketing. 

Personal
Bill III is not married and has only one child, Tanner. Tanner is a Bernese/Lab mix that loves to travel. At 10 weeks of age he took his first trip West to see the Pikes Peak Hill Climb and has not stopped since. At just 2 years of age he probably has about 30,000 miles under his collar. 

Hobbies
Miller has enjoyed various forms of automotive racing since a very early age. Road racing, tarmac hill climbs and even rally racing is a very large part of his life. Many of his car are European race cars most of which are all wheel drive. Other than cars he also enjoys various forms of exercise and outdoor activities. Food is another passion that he and Tanner. Their RV never leaves home without an open pit cooker, a large wok and a smoker big enough to feed more than a few friends. 

Dream Car
“My dream car is a Quattro version of the Audi R8 GT3, but it’s just that, a dream. Audi doesn’t actually make it, so I’ll have to keep wishing.” 

Favorite part of working at Carlisle Events
