Monster trucks are a kid and adult favorite and every year the Virginia Giant takes on a new victim crushing the tiny cars below it. The Ride Truck runs all weekend and is always full of smiling faces. One of them should be yours (oh, your kids can be with you too)! After each monster truck show the drivers have meet & greets so you and the little ones can get up close to the giant trucks and their drivers with giant personalities. Where else will you get the chance to take a picture of your kid sitting inside the wheel of a monster truck! You and the kids will have a blast while making memories of a great weekend spent together.

The Carlisle All-Truck Nationals showfield is at the center of the truck action and is host to one of the largest pure truck show-n-shine events in the country. Whether you are climbing to the sky in a monster lifted 4x4, scraping the ground in a fully customized mini or turning back the hands of time in a perfectly restored classic, you’ll see them all in Carlisle, on both the judged and non-judged showfields. Compete on the judged showfield to put your truck up against some the best in the world. Our judges, from all aspects of the truck industry, will determine where your truck stands, using a standard scoring system. The All-Truck Nationals Truck Tug-O-War pits two trucks head to head, to see who has the power to pull who. The Tug-O-War is certainly one of the many events you won’t want to miss. Sign-up for the Truck Tug-O-War, with both gas and diesel classes, to see if you and your truck are up to the challenge. Last year’s winner, Alan Williams, won both classes with his two Dodges; we want to see some Built Ford Tough and Like a Rock challengers to threaten Alan’s crown in 2010!

Axcelerated Motorsports is the official Dyno of Carlisle Events. Axcelerated provides mobile Dyno tuning for trucks using their Dynojet 248 chassis dynamometer. Their wide band O2 monitoring will determine if all that precious fuel is making power or just being wasted out the tailpipes.

The crew from Rausch Creek hosted rock crawling throughout the weekend at the All-Truck Nationals in 2009. Crowds watched these guys and gals take their trucks, jeeps and buggies to the limit on the 9’ concrete wall or test your vehicle on one of the beginner paths. We also gave the small-scale crawlers their chance with R/C exhibitions, hosted by Hidden Hanger Hobbies. Check back to see what will be happening with rock crawling in 2010!

No Carlisle event would be complete without the burnout contest. “Carlisle King (or Queen) of the Hill” bragging rights are up for grabs at the Carlisle All-Truck Nationals. Pre-registration is required at Guest Services. A show sticker (i.e. registered for vending or showfield), driver’s license and proof of insurance are required. Limited to 10 vehicles, 3 minutes each.

You want it loud? Carlisle All-Truck is where to be May 8-9 to experience dB Drag Racing, Bass Race and Psychlone – three of the premier formats for SPL (Sound Pressure League) competitions.

All-Truck will have all three thumping throughout the weekend. dB Drags pose two vehicles head-to-head, to see who has the loudest stereo. Bass Race is a stereo competition where competitors play commercially available music for 30 seconds and are given an average SPL score that places the competitor in one of six classes. New this year, the Psychlone audio competition is a format designed to capture the original excitement of a great sounding aftermarket car stereo installation. Each contestant's sound system is scored based on how loud it will play (SPL), the frequency response of the system (RTA), and installation quality.

The Miss All-Truck Nationals competition takes places on Saturday along with the other fantastic Saturday evening stage activities, on the Carlisle Stage. Contestants will answer questions about why they love trucks and why they should be Miss Carlisle All-Truck Nationals. Contestants compete for cash prizes. Ladies can register at the Guest Services trailer by the stage Friday and Saturday prior to the event. Participation is limited to 15 contestants. PLEASE NOTE: We have implemented new rules and created a new format for All-Truck Nationals 2010. Download the latest registration form for details.

Saturday night the Mini Trucks take over by lighting up the Carlisle night skies with white sparks from the titanium blocks. If you like’em low and laid out, you certainly don’t want to miss the Saturday night frame dragging.
