The Fall Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet and Corral marks the end of the swap meet season each year. Approximately 90,000 attendees will see more than 102 acres filled with anything and everything automotive related. For those looking to buy a collector car, there are more than 2,000 vehicles of all makes, models and prices for sale in the car corral. The Fall Carlisle Auction, a sister event, takes place within walking distance at the Carlisle Expo Center showcasing antique, collector, and special-interest vehicles. Mark your calendars, Fall Carlisle has evolved into an event that offers a complete automotive experience, and it’s one you don't want to miss!

Offered on a first-come, first-served basis

The swap meet offers anything and everything an automotive enthusiast could want. Interested vendors must be selling automotive merchandise or at least an 80/20% mix. In addition, no T-shirts, clothing, wax, tools, diecast, models or food will be accepted. Spaces are approximately 10’frontage x 30’depth and rent for $95 per outside space for the entire event. The car corral is where individuals offer their vehicles for sale.

The car corral is where individuals offer vehicles only (no parts, etc) for sale. Find classic to late-model vehicles in all varieties of make, model and condition. You can shop, compare and make the deal directly with the owner. Notary services including temporary tags are available right in the car corral. All vehicles in the corral must be for sale, in running condition and cannot be displayed on trailers. Unloading of vehicles on grounds is prohibited after Wednesday. Spaces are approximately 10’frontage x 20’ depth and rent for $95 per outside space for the entire event. October 1- 2, 2009

The Carlisle Auction experience provides the perfect opportunity to purchase or sell your collector car. A large and diverse selection of extraordinary vehicles and our new Carlisle Expo Center are the ideal combination for a great selling environment.

The Carlisle Expo Center is located on K street, 1 1/2 blocks outside Gate 3. Carlisle Auctions will waive the general consignment fee for the 2008 Spring, Corvette and Fall Auctions. This incentive is open to all consignors for non-prime auction hours and requires that vehicle details and photos be sent in advance of the posted deadlines. Open to ALL collector, classic, custom or performance vehicles

On Sunday October 4, during the Fall Swap Meet, Carlisle will host our second annual Cruise-In. We would like to invite all of you “Sunday Drivers” out there to enjoy a fun gathering of cars and friends at the Fairgrounds. You will find cars surrounding the stage and last minute deals in our huge Swap Meet and Car Corral. Shop and enjoy the good food while others admire your car and you compete for one of our Top 10 picks for Best: Chrysler, GM, Ford, Truck, Bike, Import or even Rat Rod. Registration is only $5 for a car/driver or $10 for a car/carload (2 or more guests). Gates open at 7:00 AM and all show vehicles should enter through Gate 3. Judging will take place between 11:00 AM and NOON, with awards being announced at the stage at 1:00 PM.

    The Future and Past of Automotive History is now, at Fall Carlisle

    Twelve Futurliners toured the country from coast to coast in the 1940s and ‘50s. Each in this Parade of Progress displayed modern advances in science and technology such as jet engines, stereophonic sound, microwave ovens, television and many other modern marvels of the time. Only nine Futurliners are known to exist, five of which are in total disrepair. Futurliner No. 10 – laboriously restored to its original condition by Don Mayton and 30 volunteers and owned by the NATMUS museum will be at this year’s Fall Carlisle event to show off the outstanding restoration of this truly breathtaking piece of automotive history.

    Terry Lee Goffee, Appearing at Fall Carlisle and the Carlisle Theatre

    “Train of Love, a Tribute to Johnny Cash”, featuring Terry Lee Goffee covers the 50 year career of an American music legend. With his six foot two inch burly frame, sturdy jaw, icy stare and rich baritone voice, Goffee takes on the persona of the Man in Black in a performance that incorporates the guitar slinging body movements that were a Johnny Cash trademark. Goffe will be at Fall Carlisle on Saturday from 1-2 in the afternoon, to preview his show at the nearby Carlisle Theatre in downtown Carlisle at 8PM. Tickets Cost: $30, $25, $20.     Thurs - Sat from 9am to 5pm

    The free bus service departs every hour on the hour from Gate 2 Thursday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm.



      Non-Denominational Worship Service
      Sunday Morning at 9am

      A non-denominational worship service is held at 9am Sunday morning in the Grandstand. Many vendors are open until 3pm with bargains available.
