The Corvettes at Carlisle show is the world’s largest Corvette extravaganza and provides Corvette enthusiasts from all generations with a weekend of entertainment, education and of course the ability to drive in the famous parade. Pre-register before July 29th to get your window sticker early and drive right in when you get to the gate!
Time and money – everyone can handle more of both. Carlisle Events wants to help!
When you pre-register, you…:
Save time. Beat the deadline and we will mail your window sticker to your address of record in advance of the event. When you get to the show, enjoy the VIP treatment of driving straight to Gate 3. No matter how long the lines of people are at the Showfield Registration area, you won’t need to stop there. Rather, once you drive through the main gate, you will be guided straight to the designated parking area.
Save money. When you pre-register, you save $10. That’s more of your hard-earned money back in your wallet.
You deserve the preferential treatment. So don’t wait -- pre-register today! The July 29, 2010 deadline will be here before you know it.
When you pre-register, we will USPS-mail all stickers to you weeks in advance.

Be a Part of the Corvette American Flag Tribute: Bigger and Better for 2010!
Don’t miss the opportunity to have your Corvette be a part of the spectacular patriotic display. The Corvette epitomizes the American Dream in the form of America’s Sports Car! This year, at Corvettes at Carlisle, we will once again create an American Flag made entirely of Corvettes as a tribute to both the dream and the sports car. This time we’ll make it even better than the first flag done in 2008: 54 Corvettes bigger, for a total of 158 Corvette - 57 red, 51 white, 35 blue and 15 silver. The tribute will be staged on Friday morning. All participants must be registered for the Fun Field sponsored by Corvette America to participate and will receive a special gift.

The Corvettes at Carlisle swap meet offers anything and everything Corvette enthusiast could ever want. Interested vendors must be selling automotive merchandise or at least an 80/20% mix. In addition, no T-shirts, clothing, wax, tools, diecast, models or food will be accepted. Spaces are approximately 10’frontage x 30’depth and rent for per outside space for the entire event. Find classic to late-model Corvettes in all varieties of make, model and condition. You can shop, compare and make the deal directly with the owner. Notary services including temporary tags are available right in the car corral. All vehicles in the corral must be for sale, in running condition and cannot be displayed on trailers. LE MANS 50TH ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTE DISPLAY
Very First 2011 Corvette and 1960 Briggs Cunningham Corvette #3
For the first time in history, see the two cars together… Join us as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Corvette’s first class win at Le Mans with a once-in-a-lifetime display of the very first 2011 Corvette and the 1960 Briggs Cunningham Corvette #3. In commemorating the 50th anniversary of Corvette’s first class win at Le Mans, GM built a very special one of one tribute to the 1960 Briggs Cunningham Corvette. VIN #00001 shares the same exterior cues including the twin stripes over the hood, roof and trunk and the #3. A special graphic on the B-pillar features a 50th Anniversary logo and then dates 1960 and 2010.

CELEBRATE JOHN FITCH’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF VICTORY AT LE MANS
Be sure to meet the legend, John Fitch, during this big event
Not only will the original 1960 Cunningham Corvette #3 class winner at Le Mans and the tribute to number three 2011 Corvette #0001 be on display during Corvettes at Carlisle, we have pushed the envelope and plan to have the original driver, at the age of 93, on hand during this big event. John recently just returned from France after being reunited with the Le Mans circuit 50 years later along with the vehicle. We’re happy he’ll be joining us and hope you enjoy his attendance as much as we do. John will be signing autographs and you can expect to hear about his trip to Le Mans on Saturday of the event at the stage. More details will come as we confirm the schedule of events.

On Sunday of Corvettes at Carlisle, a 2003 50th Anniversary Corvette Z06 (pictured left on thumbnail) will be given away to one lucky attendee. We were fortunate to have had time to drive the car a bit and can assure you this car is incredibly tight in every aspect, with less than 30,000 miles on the odometer this car is amazing! During the entire weekend the first year Z06 ever produced (pictured right on thumbnail) will be alongside the Corvette Z06 giveaway, a must see display!
To be eligible to win, you must be present with your giveaway ticket. After the winning number is called, the individual with that ticket will have ten minutes to present it at the stage. No purchase necessary.

Own a Patriotic Themed Corvette? Showcase it in Chip's Choice Display
This year’s Chip’s Choice display will show off and tell the story of some of the most Patriotic Corvettes in history. One very famous and recognizable Corvette that is already committed to be a part of the 2010 display is a 1965 Corvette Roadster. This particular '65, owned by Larry Sachs, was painted as an American flag for the movie Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999 - New Line Cinema).

SHOW THE WORLD THAT YOU’RE A CELEBRITY FAVORITE
Celebrity Pick Award Parade - Sunday Starting at 1 p.m. at the Carlisl
Celebrity Pick Award selection will take place from approximately 1-4:30 p.m. on Saturday. All Corvettes registered for the Corvettes at Carlisle Fun Field, sponsored by Corvette America are eligible to be selected as a celebrity pick. The Award Parade will start on Sunday at 1 p.m., at the Carlisle Stage. If your car chosen as a "pick", the Celebrity will place a sticker on your windshield.
During the parade, your name will be announced as you pull up to the stage to receive the award from the Miller Family and Mandy The Mechanic, one of Carlisle Events new mascots. The parade is a great photo-op for family and friends and a true honor to be selected by the some of the biggest names in the Corvette world!
Carlisle Events will be taking pictures of each car that is chosen as a Celebrity Choice winner as it drives through the parade. Don’t miss this opportunity to show the world your picture on our website!

MEET THE AUTHOR OF 'VETTES MADE FAMOUS
Meet Randy Leffingwell at Corvettes at Carlisle
This all-new Corvette book, "Legendary Corvettes - 'Vettes Made Famous on Track and Screen" by Randy Leffingwell with photography by Dave Wendt, will be available for book signings by the author during this year's Corvettes at Carlisle. You can order the book online and pick it up in Building T during the show. Randy will be signing the book at select times on Friday and Saturday in the Carlisle Store, inside Building T. This is an excellent opportunity to have your book autographed by John Fitch, Wil Cooksey, Harlan Charles, Tom Hill, Kirk Bennion, Tadge Juechter, John Fitzpatrick, Lance Miller and other Corvette celebrities.

BETTER THAN SHOWING A CORVETTE IS RACING A CORVETTE
On-Site Autocross Sponsored by Cumberland Valley Corvette Club
The only thing better than a show-ready Corvette is a show-ready Corvette on the race track! Test your Corvette on the Corvettes at Carlisle on-site Autocross. The Autocross allows experienced drivers to put their driving skills and their Corvette’s performance to the test while also allowing beginners to learn more about the sport of autocross. Novice drivers will have the opportunity to learn from instructors and sharpen their skills with in-car instruction. Sponsored by Cumberland Valley Corvette Club, the fee for an autocross session is $20 for 1 hour. Each driver will get three or four chances to run the course. (Friday and Sunday Only)

Axcelerated Motorsports is the official Dyno of Carlisle Events. Axcelerated provides mobile Dyno tuning for cars using their Dynojet 248 chassis dynamometer. Their wide band O2 monitoring will determine if all that precious fuel is making power or just being wasted out the tailpipes.

FUN FOR THE KIDS
Kids at Carlisle Includes Crafts, Contests, a Play Area and More!
Corvettes at Carlisle is fun for the entire family. For the up and coming Corvette drivers, we have the Kids at Carlisle Activity Center Area. Don’t miss automotive themed crafts for kids and parents to enjoy together and indoor and outdoor play activities that we think will “wow” the young ones! There is also a contest for kids to design a poster featuring the Carlisle Events mascots Mandy and Max the Mechanics. Max and Mandy will visit the kid’s area periodically throughout the weekend; check the event directory for appearance times and locations. Parents of babies and toddlers up to age 3 don’t forget to enter the “Carlisle Cuties” contest – babies and toddlers dressed to impress in their Corvette or Carlisle themed apparel will meet at the grandstand on Sunday at 12:30. All participants will receive a toy and the cutie with the best outfit will win a $100 US Savings Bond.

NCRS Gallery X – Building G, Just Outside Gate 1
The NCRS Gallery's Purpose is to present an ever-changing unique Corvette collection in a true gallery exhibit format. This enables non-NCRS members to have a better understanding of the National Corvette Restorers Society and the group’s goals and purposes. The collection is made up of 22 Corvettes. One Corvette will represent each of the 17 NCRS Judging Classes, along with a Duntov Mark of Excellence Award® winner, a McLellan Mark of Excellence Award® winner, an NCRS-Chevrolet Bowtie Award® recipient for Preservation Excellence, an American Heritage Award® recipient, and a Sportsman Award® Corvette. Compete Against the Best Corvettes in the World and Win Cash Prizes
Register today for the National Council of Corvette Clubs Concours Judged Showfield hosted by the York County Corvette Club. The NCCC Concurs Judged Showfield awards cash prizes to the “Best of Show” winner as well as five other categories. Compete against the best Corvettes in the world, representing Corvette clubs from across North America. The NCCC Concours Judged Showfield is limited to 175 Corvettes. CORVETTES PARADE THROUGH HISTORIC DOWNTOWN CARLISLE
Be a Part of Downtown Carlisle Corvette Parade – Saturday Night
Carlisle residents come out en masse to watch this annual parade in the heart of the downtown historic district. Corvettes parade from the fairgrounds to downtown Carlisle where they park in the area around the town square and have time to enjoy the downtown ambience and many restaurants. It’s a huge street party - complete with a band – that you’ll want to make part of your Carlisle experience.
Participation in the parade is limited so be sure to take advantage of this first-ever chance to pre-register and save $5 too!

The Miss Corvettes at Carlisle contest takes places on Saturday afternoon at 4:45 p.m. on the Carlisle Stage. Contestants will answer questions about why they love America’s sports car and why they should be Miss Corvettes at Carlisle. Miss Corvettes at Carlisle contestants compete for cash prizes. Ladies can register at the Guest Services trailer by the stage Friday and Saturday prior to the event. Participation is limited to 15 contestants.
PLEASE NOTE: We have implemented new rules and created a new format for Corvettes at Carlisle 2010. Download the latest registration form for details. The cash prizes will include $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd & $100 for 3rd place.

LIGHT EM’ UP – CORVETTES AT CARLISLE BURNOUT CONTEST

No Carlisle event would be complete without the burnout contest. “Carlisle King (or Queen) of the Hill” bragging rights are up for grabs at Corvettes at Carlisle. Pre-registration is required at Guest Services. A show sticker (i.e. registered for vending or funfield), driver’s license and proof of insurance are required. Limited to 10 vehicles, 3 minutes each.

CHIP MILLER CHARITABLE FOUNDATION BENEFIT AUCTION
Silent Auction Supporting Amyloidosis Research
Chip Miller, co-founder of Carlisle Events, passed away from complications related to primary Amyloidosis in March 2004. The rare plasma cell disorder affects the body's primary organs. To find out more information, click here.
The silent auction will include a variety of collectibles, automotive accessories and Corvette products. To donate items, bring them to the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation's table at the Corvette America Hospitality Tent, located on the Manufacturers Midway, on Friday or on Saturday before 9 a.m.

MOMENT OF REVVING
A Tribute to Chip Miller and Other Corvette Friends and Family
On Saturday at noon, we would like for all drivers near their Corvettes to start their engines and give them a good rev for 15 seconds in tribute to Chip Miller (co-founder of Carlisle Events) and all of our other Corvette friends that have passed, followed by a brief moment of silence.
