Step off your bike
on the fairgrounds – with free bike parking – and you
will find yourself in the middle of an experience like
no other. Carlisle Bike Fest is crafted with the rider
in mind and is the Mid-Atlantic’s premier motorcycle
event. Tens of thousands of bikes, trikes and open-air
fanatics will cruise in for everything from non-stop
entertainment to breathtaking local rides, industry
guests, custom builders, the Garage Girls, test rides,
motorcycle giveaways and live bands all weekend.
Plus, if you haven’t experienced a Rat Rod Revival,
come check out this bare-bones restoration movement
celebrating builders’ creativity and resourcefulness.

The Monster Energy FreestyleMX.com World Wide Tour is coming to Carlisle. Watch these X-Games caliber riders as they showoff with ramp-to-ramp performances, display jumps and tricks, back flips and multiple other freestyle tricks. You've seen it on TV, now see it at Bike Fest. This edge of your seat excitement makes a rare mid-state appearance, don't miss out!
Riders will also be available for autographs and photos before and after each performance.

Charm City Devils to Rock Bike Fest
Baltimore Based Rockers Play WTPA Stage Saturday
Rock and Roll, Bikes and thousands of open-air enthusiasts converge on America's Automotive Hometown and this year's anchor act is Baltimore's Charm City Devils.
The Charm City Devils' star has been shining brighter than ever before due in part to the release of their recent album SINS. The release features a hard edged cover of Man of Constant Sorrow, a bluegrass song made popular by the Soggy Bottom Boys as part of the sound track to 2000's "O Brother Where Art Thou." The track quickly exploded on the Active Rock radio airwaves nationwide.
CCD will be on the road throughout the summer promoting the SINS release, including stops in nearly 20 different states, three time zones and of course, Carlisle Bike Fest. Additional dates to the tour are forthcoming. Visit their website for more details.

Big Excitment in a Little Way
They fight, the entertain and they are small! Push your personal excitement meter into the red with the Half Pint Brawlers (midget wrestling) throughout the weekend. These dudes are seen on SpikeTV and were featured in the most recent installment of the Jackass film series. The Half Pint Brawlers will be set up just to the side of the 92.1 WTPA main stage and fight it out amongst themselves and special guests all weekend.

At Bike Fest in 2012 you could win a trip for two aboard the worlds ONLY rally on a cruise ship. By attending Bike Fest and/or visiting the Carlisle Events web site and signing up, you are eligible to be part of what is an otherwise sold out cruise.
Winners will board a Royal Caribbean cruise ship in Port Canaveral, Florida and cruise from October 28-November 4. Along the way, you'll stop at ports in Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico and the Cayman Islands. When not on land, you'll cruise with thousands of like minded enthusiasts, have a chance to be part of one a kind seminars, games and more.

Saturday’s Ride-In Bike Show will pits some of the best privately owned bikes in the region head to head in over 25 classes. Classes include v-twins, metrics and sport bikes. SUNDAY’S RAT ROD REVIVAL
Rat Rod Cruise in Featured at Carlisle Bike Fest
Your gate admission and Rat Rod make you eligible for this showing of Rat Rods and Rat Bikes. Rat rods are meant to be driven, bare bones restorations of bikes or cars, using whatever tools and materials the builder can find. Form follows function in this builder’s show. Carlisle plans to throw in a little bit of Rockabilly sound to make this a great way to spend a Sunday with your rat and while you enjoy the Carlisle Bike Fest.
Check in is Sunday morning from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and only an event admission is required. There is no additional purchase or fee necessary. All builds will be recognized at 2 p.m.

Burnt in a Fire - Impressively Restored
One of a Kind Restoration Created by Vadori Designs
Vadori Designs is bringing a great Restamod to Carlisle in 2012 and this isn't just any pile turned display bike. The Shovelhead bike coming to Carlisle is doing so from western Pennsylvania and is being displayed after its remains were salvaged from a fire. The story is a must read and to do so, click the link below.
Joe Salvadori of Vadori Designs notes that "the business specializes in taking piles of crap and turning them into a restored gem. My tagline is 'Restamods for the American V-Twin' and I define a Restamod as being 'a motorcycle which has undergone a matching numbers frame and engine restoration, but has had its stance, attitude, style and performance modified from factory.'
In addition to the bike on display, Vadori Designs will be offering some custom designed parts as well.

BIKE FEST IS THE PLACE FOR STUNT SHOW EXCITEMENT
StarBoyz on the Loose - New Smoke Show in 2012!
The legendary sport bike stunt team, the StarBoyz are back again for Carlisle Bike Fest, this time with an extra special StarBoyz Smoke Show. Check out Scott, Kevin and their adrenaline-hooked friends as they burn rubber, rev their engines and wow the crowd with stoppies, wheelies, burnouts and more.
Now, in addition to the tricks, they are going to show off and you can judge who will be "king of the burnout." The smoke show consists of several mini competitions aimed at pleasing the crowd. Check them out as they compete on a mini drift course, fastest circle burnouts, best move, combination series burnout and of course the best smoke show.
Edge of your seat excitement gets even better in 2012.

With multiple areas on site best suited for live music, Carlisle Bike Fest will once again crank up the volume on live entertainment. Whether it's on the main stage or under the roof of one of the two pavilions, you'll never be too far away from the sounds that make Bike Fest rock.

Drymill Road Plays Rat Rod Revival
Sunday Entertainment for Everyone
Not only will you get to see something unique with the 2012 Rat Rod Revival, but you can also check out live music from Drymill Road.
Formed in 2008, Drymill Road specializes in Americana Bluegrass. Leading up to Bike Fest they'll be playing a stretch of shows in Virginia and West Virginia before coming north just for you!

Blackwater Jam Returns to Carlisle for Bike Fest
Local Rockers Cover the Classics on Friday
Blackwater Jam is the ultimate, no holds-barred Southern Rock and Blues band from South Central PA. They love to hear the crowd sing along with essential Southern Rock jams from Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Outlaws, Allman Brothers, ZZ Top and others. Check them out as Bike Fest jump starts an excitement filled weekend on Friday.

Nate Myers and the Aces to Play Bike Fest on Sunday
Local Group to Play the WTPA Main Stage
Live music is a big part of Bike Fest weekend and the musical lineup continues with local act, Nate Myers and the Aces. The group has served as the opening act for Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Lil' Ed & The Blues Imperials, G. Love & Special Sauce, Kansas and E.G. Kight.
In addition, they've released a handful of CD's and have played festivals from the mid-state to the Big Easy. In between they've been on stage as part of the Briggs Farm and Billtown Blues Festivals.

Carlisle Events recognizes the need that today’s technology plays with today’s technician. Because of that, you could win an iPad at any one of our 10 Carlisle based events. This prize will serve as a great accessory for travel, shop work, web browsing, gaming or whatever you want to do with it. Over the course of the year, beginning with Spring Carlisle (April 25-29) and concluding with Fall Carlisle (October 3-7), 10 Apple iPads will be handed out. The iPads will be at least an Apple iPad 2. One lucky winner will be randomly selected to receive an iPad in conjunction with each event at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, with each winner being selected from a pool of names specific to each event.

Country Kids Jamboree Coming to Bike Fest
Watch the Puppen Meister Perform and Entertain
Bring your kids to Bike Fest for great family entertainment. Not only are there thousands of bikes on site of varying styles, Kids at Carlisle offers an outlet to play, color and let a kid be a kid.
Now, along with the fun of Kids at Carlisle, the Country Kids Jamboree will be on site for a puppet/marionette show plus games guaranteed to delight both kids and parents alike.
This year Carlisle will host all events, including an expanded game arcade, fabulous faces face painting, spin art, sand art, an ALL NEW Marionette show, a duck pond, shooting gallery, shuffle alley, ring toss, tic-tac-toe and more. A nominal fee may apply for most games with prizes available to all participants.

On Saturday from 10:00AM - 5:00PM in the Kids at Carlisle Activity Center Area, we have crafts for kids and parents to enjoy together. We also have lots of play activities that we think will “wow” the young ones. Come and check it out!
